Launching as part of a collaborative two-piece pack, the Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550 ‘True Brown’ updates the retro ‘80s hoops shoe with a revamped build. The upper replaces traditional leather construction with a cream-colored canvas base, contrasted by hairy suede overlays in a neutral brown finish. Mismatched heel graphics feature ALD and NB logos on the left and right shoe, respectively, while dual branding appears on the woven tongue tag. Underpinning the sneaker is a rubber cupsole, highlighted by aged sidewalls and a cushy foam core.
